2.2.1-4-2 Ensure the verification method is appropriate, adequate and documented Phase B | Phase C | Phase D1 | Phase D2 | Ensure the assignment of appropriate verification methods to each requirement are developed. Ensure the Verification Methods are adequately justified. Ensure any verification by similarity is justified and documented by Preliminary Design Review, and updated at Critical Design Review. Ensure that Payload system/major component verification addresses all requirements and those requirements satisfied at a lower level are accounted for in the requirement verification documentation. Ensure unit level testing conforms to required standards testing. Ensure Test Like You Fly process is implemented and like-you-fly tests are allocated to the unit/component level as appropriate. 2.2.1-4-7 Ensure the adequacy of the verification plan and products to include the Cross-Reference Matrix Phase B | Phase C | Phase D1 | Ensure all system level requirements are verified and that the selected methods provide the appropriate level of fidelity and comprehension. Ensure the overall verification management approach assures timely and complete information to the Program. Assure that a Verification Cross Reference Matrix is maintained within the appropriate systems engineering organization and is configuration managed in a software database such as DOORS. Evaluate the verification summary sheet details for all system specifications, and ensure those specifications are directly traceable to the most current system requirements documentation. 2.2.1-4-8 Ensure the integrated verification strategy adequately addresses lower level requirements Phase B | Phase C | Phase D1 | Ensure the lower level allocated verification plans are evaluated to assure that the requirement methodology is consistent with the required fidelity and comprehension for that level. Ensure a well integrated vertical verification plan is in place where system level requirements are verified.
