2.3.15-1 Level 2 Tasks

Tasks Applicable Mission Phases Description SFWC Artifacts References
2.3.15-1-1 Ensure an environmental safety and occupational health evaluation is performed for the program and summarized in the acquisition strategy Phase 0 | Phase A | Phase B | Phase C | Phase D1 | Ensure that an approved evaluation is performed and is updated as appropriate. Safety and Environmental DODI 5000.02 requires that acquisition programs requires programs to develop a Programmatic Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Evaluation (PESHE) to include periodic updates. Ensure operational and logistics concepts are reviewed for safety and environmental limitations. SFWC 2.8.1; AFMAN 63-119 A23.2.1 NA DODI 5000.2; AFMAN 63-119 or equivalent
2.3.15-1-2 Ensure Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health (ESOH) considerations are integrated into the program's risk management and mitigation process Phase A | Phase B | Phase C | Phase D1 | Ensure that ESOH risks identified in the PESHE have been integrated into programs risk management and mitigation process. Compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) requirements in National Security Space Acquisition Policy 03-02 replacement document has been accomplished and documented for the program life cycle.
