2.3.16-1-1 Ensure contractor defines all cable and harness elements |
Phase A |
Phase B |
Phase C |
|
Ensure all elements for cables and harnesses are defined. The elements include but are not limited to: bus harnesses, payload harnesses, unit back harnesses, RF cables, grounding cables, waveguides, etc. Some programs also includes filter boxes and fuse boxes as part of cable and harness.

2.3.16-1-3 Ensure contractor has specific giver/receiver dates for all handoffs |
Phase A |
Phase B |
Phase C |
Phase D1 |
|
Ensure the logistics between WBSs are established with specific giver/receiver date for all handoffs. Handoffs include but are not limited to: requirements for cable and harness design (design standards, contamination, parts and materials, EMI/EMC, survivability, maximum voltage drop, mechanical lengths and minimum bend radius, wire hookups, grounding, performance, weight, etc.), unit pin outs, unit connector types, hardware need dates, etc.
